"But as they sailed He(Jesus) fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they(disciples) were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water..." - Luke 8: 23,24
Could the storm be silent? Still, Jesus was sleeping (!) until He heard the disciples cry. He wasn't disturbed by the noise of the storm, He didn't wake up either. But, He heard the voice of disciples. Is their voice loud enough to surpass the storm?! I would say that their voice should have been quieter than a whisper in the storm between His sleep. Even the little whisper made God to rise and respond to that situation!
Just for an understanding: Take a glimpse of the storm; imagine a kind of boat 2000 years ago!

Is your voice loud enough... just to call unto Jesus (alone)?
